US report biased: CS

Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung today refuted a report issued by the United States-China Economic & Security Review Commission.

Speaking to the media, Mr Cheung said the report made biased conclusions and unfounded accusations against Hong Kong.

The unfair comments against Hong Kong were due to a lack of understanding of the city, he added.

Mr Cheung emphasised that Hong Kong has been enjoying a high degree of autonomy under "one country, two systems".
