Tse Chin-wan meets SZ officials

Secretary for Environment & Ecology Tse Chin-wan today visited Shenzhen to attend a meeting with local officials and tour the exhibition hall of a new energy transport manufacturer?s headquarters.

Mr Tse met Shenzhen Vice Mayor Zhang Hua this morning, to explore directions for co-operation between Hong Kong and Shenzhen in combating air pollution and promoting carbon reduction incentives.

They also shared strategies and achievements in promoting new energy transport measures in both places.

During the meeting attended by officials from relevant offices and bureaus, both sides also updated eachother on the latest progress on environmental collaboration projects, including the current work on wetland conservation.

In the afternoon, Mr Tse visited the exhibition hall of BYD?s headquarters, where he received a briefing on the latest developments of new energy transport measures.
