Tourism Board chair named

The Government today announced the appointment of Pang Yiu-kai to succeed Peter Lam as Tourism Board Chairman.

Mr Pang will serve for three years from April 1.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Edward Yau said Mr Pang is suitable to chair the Tourism Board due to his rich experience in business management and public services.

?I am confident that he would steer the board in promoting Hong Kong worldwide as a world-class premier tourist destination," he added.

Mr Yau also expressed gratitude to Mr Lam for his contribution.
