Colleagues who worked or had close contact with them have been arranged to work from home and will undergo virus testing. Cleaning and disinfection have been conducted at the workplaces concerned.

The HD contractor's security guard normally works the middle shift of the roster and is responsible for patrolling and manning the Ching Long Shopping Centre's security control room and management office.

He last performed his duties on December 28 and was notified that he had tested positive for COVID-19 the next day.

The security guard is not a resident of nearby Kai Ching Estate or Tak Long Estate and has no recent travel history. He wore a face mask, observed relevant disease prevention measures and recorded a normal body temperature at work.
