Gov't rejects online rumours

The Government today dismissed online rumours claiming it will announce the suspension of work, classes and the stock market under the Emergency Regulations Ordinance.

In a statement, the Government said such rumours are absolutely untrue. 

It appealed to the public not to believe in such rumours, as doing so can lead to unnecessary chaos and fear.
