Flag-raising marks 23rd anniversary

Chief Executive Carrie Lam and senior government officials attended a flag-raising ceremony today to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The ceremony was held at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.

The Police Band performed at the ceremony and two singers sang the national anthem, followed by a disciplined services sea parade and fly-past.

In view of the current public health risk, no public viewing area was set up for the ceremony.
