Link DetailsCSSA students to receive grant The Social Welfare Department will make a one-off grant to students who are receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) starting from August 23.
The arrangement is one of the relief measures announced in the 2019-20 Budget.
Students attending childcare centres, kindergartens, and primary and secondary schools who are eligible for the flat-rate grant for selected school-related expenses under the CSSA scheme in the 2019-20 school year will each be provided a $2,500 one-off grant.
It will be paid through the existing CSSA payment method. No application is required.
