$9.3b September deficit recorded


The Government recorded a $9.3 billion deficit in September, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau announced today.

 

Expenditure was at $40.3 billion with a revenue of $31 billion for the month.

 

Government expenditure for the six months ending September amounted to $251.1 billion, with a revenue of $175.8 billion, bringing the cumulative year-to-date deficit to $75.3 billion.

 

Fiscal reserves stood at $1.027 trillion as of September 30.
