6 more COVID-19 deaths recorded


The Hospital Authority announced today that six COVID-19 patients with chronic disease aged between 79 and 92 passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 33.

 

The 79-year-old male patient was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on July 27 due to cough. His condition continued to deteriorate. He passed away yesterday at 11.44pm.

 

An 89-year-old female patient passed away at Tuen Mun Hospital this morning.

 

An 86-year-old male patient was admitted to Queen Mary Hospital on July 11 due to COVID-19 and pneumonia. He eventually succumbed this morning.

 

A 79-year-old female patient at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital was admitted on July 29 due to fever and shortness of breath. Her condition deteriorated and she passed away in the afternoon.

 

A 90-year-old female patient at Tuen Mun Hospital was admitted on July 26 due to fever. She passed away tonight.

 

A 92-year-old female patient at Queen Elizabeth Hospital had congestive heart failure and diabetes. She was admitted on July 12 due to a fall and fever. She also passed away tonight.
