$4.7b deficit recorded


The Government recorded a $4.7 billion deficit in September, the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau announced today.

 

It saw expenditure of $38.348 billion and $33.64 billion in revenue during the month.

 

Government expenditure for the six months ending September 30 amounted to $221.7 billion with $234.1 billion in revenue, bringing the cumulative year-to-date surplus to $12.4 billion.

 

Fiscal reserves stood at $966.4 billion as of September 30.
