4 COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating four additional COVID-19 cases, taking the number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 5,241.

Half of the new cases are epidemiologically linked with local ones and the other half are imported, involving two males and two females aged between 11 and 60.

The imported cases are from the Netherlands and India.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health announced that from tomorrow, Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi will be used as the Holding Centre for Test Results to provide accommodation to inbound travellers whose test results will not be available on the same day.

The department will make flexible arrangements according to the capacity of the facilities and the daily number of passengers arriving on afternoon flights. Inbound travellers arriving in the afternoon could also be arranged to wait for their test results at the Temporary Specimen Collection Centre if necessary.
