The Government recorded a $14.8 billion deficit for the first three months of the current financial year.

Expenditure was at $124.4 billion and revenue at $101.8 billion, resulting in the year-to-date deficit for the period after receipt of net proceeds of $7.8 billion from the issuance of green bonds under the Government Green Bond Programme.

Fiscal reserves stood at $1.156 trillion as of end-June.
