The Employment Support Scheme (ESS) received about 72,000 applications from employers and 61,000 from self-employed people from the first day of the application period on May 25 until 6pm today.

Eligible employers and those self-employed can submit online applications for the first tranche of wage subsidies through the ESS Online Portal until 11.59pm on June 14.
